The camera records high quality still pictures as well as video in up to 1080p, today’s highest video resolution. For recording in low light, the camera provides two high intensity LED lights. The recording is saved on a removable SD card for up to 13 hours of continuous recording.

Aloha Hawaii
In 2009 TIS was selected to provide a Vehicle Tracking System for the Hawaii Freeway Service Patrol. TIS was selected because of the ability to provide reliable real-time information on assist locations, traffic flow evaluation and the ability to actively manage the fleet. The system updates vehicle locations every 5 to 12 seconds, depending on traffic flow. Highway Service Patrols rely on TIS.
If you've ever needed roadside service on an the highway, you know how frustrating the wait can be. You call for help and you're told that help will be there in fifteen minutes. But an hour later, you're still sitting in your vehicle while cars pass you at 70 miles per hour. You call for help again and again you're told it will be another twenty minutes. Unfortunately, this is a common problem on most of the freeways around the country.
But not so in a number of states around the country. In many parts of the country, your call for help will go to a contract towing company equipped with the TIS real time Vehicle Tracking system. These towing companies know immediately where their service vehicles are at that moment. When they quote an ETA time, they do so with confidence and the knowledge that they can meet the commitment to the customer.
The California Highway Patrol relies on a number of TIS customers to assist with keeping the busy Los Aheles freeways open. In Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania State Police call on some of our customers to keep the Pennsylvania Turnpike moving. What makes the TIS system different from any other is that we do not rely on elapsed time to update the vehicle locations. We update the locations based on distance traveled. Therefore, instead of updating every 5 minutes like most others, the TIS system will update when the vehicle moves so many feet, as often as every 10 to 12 seconds. That gives the dispatcher accurate locations to provide accurate ETA times. For more details click
